Residential Drivers

CWS is hiring for the Residential Driver position. This job includes but is not limited to collecting garbage from rural and/or municipal routes, performing pre/post trips daily, scheduling maintenance on their vehicle, and providing top-level customer support that County Waste Service strives to have. Preferred drivers have 3 years’ experience in an automated/commercial side load truck and must have a clean MVR. Fast-paced job with a demanding schedule. Roll-off Drivers

County Waste Service in Abilene, TX, is currently seeking applications for the Roll Off Driver position. We are accepting applicants with CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) qualifications. If you are a reliable and safety-conscious individual with a passion for serving the community, this is a great opportunity to join our team. Minimum of class B CDL required

Facility Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the CWS facility. The purpose of this position is to assist with the organization, maintenance, and upkeep of the yard/facility while also providing support in the shop. By efficiently managing yard operations and providing support in the shop, the Maintenance Technician contributes to the successful functioning of our facility and helps maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Commercial Coordinator

The Commercial Coordinator for CWS is the leader of the Commercial Team. They are responsible for managing commercial trucks, operations, providing safe and accurate disposal methods, and complying with DOT regulations. They will also be responsible for overseeing sales, asset management, maintaining customer relations, and employee management. The main goals for this role are to ensure efficient operations, profitability, and exceptional service delivery.
