Thank you to everyone who attended the County Waste Service ribbon cutting ceremony and welcomed us to City of Comanche with open arms.
At CWS, our West Texas roots go back six generations. It was an honor to have four generations of family at our ribbon cutting ceremony. Ethan Kunkel, CWS Founder and President, and his wife Justice Kunkel, CWS Finance Director, were joined by his grandparents JoAnn and Bill Gualt, his father Terry Kunkel, and their daughter Lyndrie.
As a waste solutions provider, we don’t have a typical storefront, so we couldn’t think of a better place to hold a ribbon cutting than at the Comanche Depot between two of our trucks and surrounded by our dedicated team, including our drivers, who service your neighborhoods each week.
The highlight of the ceremony was when Lyndrie cut the red ribbon with scissors that were almost as big as she is!
It was great to have Comanche Chamber of Commerce members, folks from the community, and local leaders there to support CWS as we launched service in Comanche. After the ribbon cutting, everyone joined us for donuts from The Donut Palace in the chamber office.
